JDR Painting was honored to be selected by St. John’s Lutheran Church to repaint the iconic cross atop their facility—standing approximately 150 feet in the air. The project called for specialized equipment and a skilled team capable of delivering high-quality results under challenging conditions.
To safely access the structure, our crew utilized a 180-foot boom lift, one of only two of its kind currently in the state of Wisconsin. Our team applied a durable Rustoleum Gold finish, chosen for its long-lasting brilliance and resistance to the elements. Because of the lift’s complexity, only a certified Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) operator could perform the work—qualifications all of our field employees proudly hold.
